My Intention: How can I envelop the world with light to cultivate more meaningful, loving interactions between human beings?

I am a mama, artist, educator, community connector, and change maker always rediscovering my "why".

I believe in access to wellness for ALL and believe that wellness includes the ability to create and express one's voice with intention and authenticity. I am actively seeking ways that I can engage people in meaningful creative expression and build bridges across communities through active engagement, curation, collaborations with other local creatives/leaders, and workshops.

While I wear many hats, my ultimate intention is to provide a platform for people in my community to create as a means to heal and connect. I especially emphasize holding space and providing opportunities for BIPOC artists, LGBTQ+ artists, and any other folks from groups and spaces that are typically under-resourced, underrepresented, projected onto with limiting narratives, and not welcomed to be their full selves in institutional art spaces.

Over the last twelve years, I have obtained skills in photography, design, 2-D art, and sculpture. I received my BA in Design Studies with a Concentration in Graphic Design, a Secondary Education Teaching Credential in Art from San Jose State University, and a Masters in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis on Art Education, Wellness and Social Justice. Most recently, I completed my Ethnic Studies Certificate through San Francisco State University.
